Who we help

Business to business only. Sector-agnostic in practice.

TRDG Commercial Credit Management acts for UK businesses that invoice other UK businesses. Behind every unpaid invoice is an owner wondering if they are being difficult just for asking to be paid. You are not. You delivered the work. You earned that payment.

Common situations

Common situations we handle every week.

If any of these describe your position, the earlier we speak, the fewer options are already off the table.

A single invoice has been overdue for months.

One entrenched account that has slipped down the priority list. Appropriate service: commercial recovery. Commission-based, no upfront cost.

A significant proportion of clients pay late.

The issue is not one account but a pattern of late payment across the ledger. Appropriate service: credit management retainer, operating as the outsourced credit control function.

Growth is outpacing internal admin capacity.

Higher invoice volume, more disputes, more slippage. Appropriate service: credit management retainer, priced against the live ledger so cover scales with the business.

A client owes a balance and the relationship must survive.

A commercially sensitive situation. Communications can be issued on a white-label basis under the client's brand, so the debtor never becomes aware of a third party. Appropriate service: recovery or retainer, white-labelled.

Court is being considered, but the case is unclear.

We will review the position, place the pre-action steps on a proper footing, and provide a candid assessment of whether county court proceedings are commercially warranted. Appropriate service: commercial recovery, run through the escalation ladder.

Chasing invoices is not why the business was founded.

Recovery is our discipline, not a distraction from ours. Appropriate service: whichever fits the position. Send us the situation and we will set out the route.

White-label option

Where the client relationship must survive, the client never sees us.

Available where an ongoing commercial relationship is strategically important. A key account. A repeat customer. A partner the business cannot afford to lose. In these engagements we operate as an internal credit control function. Correspondence is issued from the client's domain, in the client's tone, under the client's brand. The debtor experiences a more organised accounts function. The client retains the relationship and receives the balance.

Available on the retainer and on larger recovery cases. Please raise it in the initial enquiry.

In practice this means
  • Correspondence issued from your domain, with authenticated set-up and your written consent.
  • Language and tone matched to the client's existing style of business writing.
  • No reference to TRDG Commercial Credit Management in any debtor-facing correspondence.
  • Full private case reporting to the client each month.

Sector not listed? The list is descriptive, not restrictive.

The sectors above represent where the majority of our current work sits, not the extent of what we handle. If your business invoices UK businesses, we are almost certainly familiar with the recovery position.
